These terms are between [Legal entity name], [registration number], South Africa (“ChurchIQ”, “we”) and the organisation that creates a ChurchIQ account (“you”, “your organisation”). By creating an account or using ChurchIQ, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation.
ChurchIQ is a service that lets your organisation upload attendance, giving, membership, cell group, and event data, ask questions about it in plain language, and get AI-generated answers, charts, and exports. It can optionally connect to a members-facing app your organisation runs, to look up or (with admin confirmation) update its calendar and admin content.
You (your organisation) own the data you upload to ChurchIQ. We process it only to provide the service to you — see our Privacy Policy for the detail. You’re responsible for having the right to upload the personal information you put into ChurchIQ (e.g. member records) and for handling it lawfully on your end too.
Answers, charts, and summaries are generated by an AI model based on your data and may contain errors or misinterpret a question. Review anything before treating it as authoritative — ChurchIQ is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or accounting advice, and giving/financial figures should be verified against your source records before being relied on formally.
Any action the AI proposes that would change data (e.g. adding a calendar event) is staged only — nothing is written until a person with the right permissions explicitly confirms it.
You agree not to:
Your organisation’s plan includes a monthly allowance of query credits. If you exceed it, [describe what happens — upgrade prompt / usage pauses / overage billing, as applicable]. Fees, if any, are billed as described at sign-up or in your organisation’s order form.
You can stop using ChurchIQ and ask us to close your organisation’s account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms (e.g. unlawful use, non-payment), and we’ll try to give you reasonable notice first except where immediate suspension is necessary to protect the service or other organisations’ data.
ChurchIQ is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ChurchIQ is limited to the fees your organisation paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
We’ll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and post material changes here before they take effect. Continuing to use ChurchIQ after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any dispute will be handled in South African courts, unless your organisation’s order form says otherwise.
